With all the beautiful people we know
We really wanted our reception to feel as familiar and homely as possible, as if our parents just hosted a dinner party for all of our friends. Our guests were invited to a cocktail hour after our Renewal of Vows. We enjoyed this time to soak in the first few hours of being married.
While waiting, our guests were serenaded by The Pastel Strings - a 6-piece band we carefully handpicked. They also sang our wedding march songs live.
Dinner started at 6:30PM and, in a striking show of God’s grace, all the stars were bright and the moon was majestic. This was again for us, a miracle. It was supposed to rain that day. Tents were already booked. But there was a funny feeling in the Bride’s stomach that told her tents won’t be needed - the Sun and his Moon will show up. And show up, they did.
Our first dinner as a married couple was awesome. We played games, we danced, we laughed, cried, and then we danced again. It was made even more special because we did it with all the beautiful people we know. We laughed more than we cried that night — we take that as a win.
Heartfelt speeches were delivered, and memories were immortalized by these photos by Oak St. Studios.
